Hi,

I have been searching the forums to see if I can find an answer to my issue, but I can't seem to find anything similar, so I thought I'd ask.

I have reconstructive ACL surgery around 7 years ago after completely snapping my ACL. Also, some miniscus cartilage was torn and was trimmed away during the ACL reconstruction.

Everything has gone wellfor me with regard to stability and full ROM with regards to extension. I am also a competitive natural body-builder and last September took the #1 title at the BNBF British Championships. All in all, this all sounds pretty successful.

My one issue with my knee (left knee) is the feeling of tightness that I get and pain when kneeling, or trying to get 100% ROM when flexing the knee.
The diagram in the link below demonstrates an example of a kneeling position at 155 - 160 degrees.

Kneeling in order to have my heels touch the buttocks (around 160degrees) is difficult for me. The ROM is there and I can achieve the position but it causes pain and it feels very tight. I can not stay in the position for any longer that 1 - 2 minutes.

I this normal after ACL restoration? Will the knee always be tigher (when compared to the 'good' knee), or should I get it seen to?

Thanks for your time,

Will.
