If you're concerned, and especially if your PT is concerned, I recommend trying to get another MRI. It's much better to know whether or not your knee is injured then to risk causing additional injury.

I am looking for the opinion of my fellow ACL reconstruction patients. I am 6 mos. post op using an alograft, I still have pain when I walk, going up stairs, squatting with any weight, and kneeling. My PT said he is concerned I may have an injury to my posterier corner of the knee because my foot turns outward; and I might have a cyclops lesion of scar tissue, which would be the reason for the popping. I told the OS who seemed disinterested in what I told him. He keeps telling me this injury takes a long time to heal. This is a workmans comp injury and I have been out of work since the injury. I would like another MRI, but am afraid the OS won't order one because workmans comp won't want to pay for it.
Has anyone else experienced the same symptoms? If so, what are your results? Any advice? Thanks!
