ACL needed when we got some injuries in the leg ligaments and for to construct them we should have Anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACL) . Its a complicated surgery and we should take the help of only reputed doctors.

I tore my ACL and medial meniscus a year ago, but developed a DVT and was on coumadin for 6 months before I was elligible for repair. By then, I was reasonably mobile and thought I'd give it a try to continue in my sport without repair. My sport is endurance riding. That is, riding/racing a horse 50 miles cross country. I still have compromised circulation from the DVT, so I was being careful and started out doing 25 and 30 mile races. I soon found that that was all I was going to be able to do without having the ACL replaced.

So here I am, day 9 following outpatient arthroscopic ACL reconstruction from hamstring autograft, meniscus repair and microfracture of the cartilage. Day 1 thru 5 went great! I was partial weight bearing with crutches, swelling was kept to a minimum with the cryocuff. Pain meds were minimal. I felt like this was going to be a piece of cake. By day 7 I had severe tightness in my calf whenever I stood upright. A general feeling of tightness in the whole knee, particularly in the patella region.

I'll be seeing the surgeon Friday, with all my questions, but I'm curious what personal experience has been
