patella athletic pain (always)
When I was 10,(I'm 16 now), I suffered from osgood shlater's with all that I did simply because of growing about 7 inches in a matter of 4 months. It mainly affected my left, and would really start acting up directly after games, practices, or (yes), reccess.
Now in my right knee i suffer from what I call the "more annoying than most anything (if not) everything disease" Just today, I was in a highschool class with some free time and jumping around (actually I only jumped twice about 10 inches when my vert is 30--so basically, i barely jumped). However, now my knee is inflamed, swollen, and screwed up. It reacted as such in part because I did no warming up or stretching prior to jumping (but honestly, in the circumstances as was, should I have had to? (no.))
Simply put, my knee's have problems, and more than most. IS surgery the answer? Well, I don't know, but at this point, a very athletic 16 year old male is unable to continue with his regular activities (that's me).
If you are help, please respond. Thanks.
