OS pain for 20 years as well I was told that I had OSD at 11 yrs of age. I'm now 32 and still have pain. Most of my problems are with kneeling, cold weather, stiffness and I have a "crunching" noise in my knees, this noise happens every time I bend my knees. I believe that the noise must be related. I've been saying for years that I need to get my knees looked at again. I'm finally going to do just that. Last night I bumped my one knee and was in excrusiating pain, but only for a few minutes. Now it's just sore. Anyway, I'm very concerned about my future. I keep telling my husband that we're going to have a rough future because of the condition of my knees. My brother also has OSD. Also, for over 20 years. He has large bumps and similar problems. Although, I don't have bumps on my knees. I'm not sure why that is. Does anyone else have this "crunching" noise??? This is what really scares me. I sound like I'm falling apart.
