It never actually bothered me until now I'm a 28-year-old man. I've had this bump under my left knee since I was maybe 10. But it never hurt until I was about 16. Even then it only hurt abit, and it just prevented me from bending and stretching my leg one after the other. 2 months ago when on holiday, I climbed some stairs and the next day the bump started to hurt, and the following day it hurt like never before. The area surrounding the bump was swollen and I couldn't sleep because of the pain. It took 5 days to get better. It was alright until several days ago. This time it started with a little run, the next day it started to hurt again, with the sweeling and pain. I'm getting an X-Ray done tomorrow. I've never had it checked until now, but through reading your stories, my condition seems to be OS.
