meniscus ligament cartilage 16 years ago when i was at school my knee twisted and i fell to the floor. after which my knee hurt like hell but x rays showed nothing. and the doctor that i saw couldn't diagnose my problem. after years of negligence when i finally did get to another doctor i was told i have a broken CARTILAGE and then finally another doctor told me it was a torn meniscus. i had several other episodes where my knee would twist and pain would follow... the last time it happened.. i had a plaster. i love running around and dream of going skiing which will perhaps never be possible for me....but sometimes my knee flares up and i have difficulties moving around and walking in the city. it's amazing how sometimes we can be so negligent about our health!
