TTT surgery

I am a 21 year old female and I used to be very active I played all types of sports and loved it until I started having trouble with my right knee went to an ortho and was told I had osgood schlatters. A few years later I injured my knee comming down a flight of stairs and it hypo-flexed meaning it bent backwards I was in a cast for about 8 weeks and a brace for some time afterwards but then it was perfect again. Well needless to say I hurt it again about 2 years ago underwent 2 arthroscopic surgeries and months of therapy but to no avail. the doctor then decided to do a TTT it was performed one day surgery, I was in immense pain and was admitted to the hospital the next day and put on a morphine pump, a week later i was sent home with a brace that i was supposed to have the day of surgery apperantly. about a week after that i was admitted to the hospital again for an infection at the surgery site i was there for another week and sent home with a PIC line for intravenous antibiotic that i had to administer to myself 3 times a day for 4 weeks. It was one big mess. I am now left with a scar that is about 8 inches long down the middle of my leg and numbness all around the right side of it and it is one year post op. I still experience pain and grinding if I had know it would be like this I think I would have dealt with the pain. Maybe i just had a bad experience or doctor who knows.
