Re:Lateral Release I am writing to continue my story posted by the e-mail address of kayleighsam@btopenworld.com. After having a lateral release on left knee nearly two years ago, i recently have discovered new problems. 2 months ago, i once again dislocated my left knee. The knee relocated by itself and there was no extreme damage caused but i was put in a back-slab cast for 1 week and was on crutches. The knee is now once again extremly loose and im waiting for another operation in April this year. Then 1 week ago, whilst playing in the snow, i dislocated my right knee, which was unknown to have any problems until now. So im a 14 year girl sitting in a plaster cast for 3-6weeks and in an extreme amount of pain. Im extremly worried that i will dislocate both knees at the same time as this is possible. Any information about my condition would be much appreciated as i cannot find much information myself.
