knee operation I recently went in for Acl reconstruction, the doctor did not explian fully the operation to me before hand, during the operation the surgeon cut through my main artery in my left leg, when i finally came round after the operation i was transferred immediatly to another hospital for an operation called a flasheotomy which lasted 7 hours, they have to make severe cuts to my leg to reduce swelling and take a vien from my left leg to repiar the artery leaving me with my lesg totally mangled. Coming out of that operation ive never been in so much pain in my entire life. what should have been not a major operation turned into a life saving operation. The doctors do not yet know the extent of the damage or if i'll be permenantly disabled because of this. If i knew before hand that i would have this much of a nightmare i would have lived with it.
