i am 17 years old. for the past 2 years i have played badminton at least 4 times a week. things were looking up for me when i landed funny on a court, i heard a crunch and i was in a lot of pain. i went to the doctor and i was told to rest it for a couple of weeks. it still hurt so i continued playing badminton. at first it only hurt while i was playing, but then i experienced pain if i was siting or standing for too long, and expecially if i was kneeling. i was told i have pfs about 2 weeks ago, and being as fit as i am it has been hard to deal with, but finding this website has helped me out alot and has given me hope that i will play badminton again. i am working on strengthining my thigh muscles. i have learnt to be positive and even though somedays i feel like not getting out of bed because of the pain, ive thought again, life is too short to be slowen down by something like this.
