Swelling in left knee I've had troubles with my left knee for about two years now. I first hurt it playing football. I pretty sure it was just a sprain becasue it healed up rather fast. Since then I've hurt it many other times and it has always gotten better. Then 2 weeks ago I hurt it playing basketball and it hasn't gotten better at all. The left side of it is all swollen up and hasn't gone down at all. I can't run at all and can barely walk on it. I'm concerned that I really did something to it. I have a appointed with the doctor, but not until another week. Is there anything I can do between that time to make the swelling go down? Which would enable me to walk better.
