7 operations same knee I first tore the caritlage in my right knee about 7 years ago by walking down hall in high school and someone jolted back of knee as joke.... had scope then second opertaion to repair. A couple of years later playing football i tore cartilage again and they scoped. Thet decided that there was not enough cartilage left that was salvagable. A year later they perfromed cartilage replacement which was great except the cartilage was too large. They had to go in again and remove some excess cartilage. Now a few years later ive damaged new cartilage and doctors tell me that the arthritis is bad. Heres my question? they tell me down the road an ostiotomy is going to be needed. The alingment of my leg is out and this should be done. Im 26 and they say im too young. Should now not be the time?
