PARTIAL KNEE REPLACEMENT I had a partial knee replacement done 3 yrs ago at the age of 46yrs. It was done at a brilliant centre here in Australia called SPORTSMED SA wedsite address is www.sportsmed.com.au, my surgeon was DR GREG KEENE who I would recommend as I have made a full recovery and my knee is like brand new. I only thing I can't do which the DR advised not to is run!! but I do heaps of walking and have now joined an athletics club and doing Javelin with a short run up and also shot put with on turns. I had approx 21 arthroscopes and 1 bone graft prior to my PKR to no avail this was done over a period of approx 20yrs, I originally injured my knee playing basketball.
