Rheumatoid Arthritis
Hello there. I'm writing this story hoping that someone out there suffers the same pain as my friend, Grace.
Her right knee had pain, at first, then it began to swell. She had seen a rheumatologist who extracted some fluid from her knee. Then diagnosed her with psoriatic arthritis. She was then told that nothing can be done for her. The pain persisted, so has the swelling. Until she couldn't bear the pain, she saw another rheumatologist, that recommended her to an orthopedic surgeon right away.
She had arthroscopic surgery, tested the tissue they got from the affected knee. The rheumatologist did the same thing. They saw nothing. Until, she felt some pain from her left knee. That's the time her rheumatologist concluded RA. Is this possible? I felt so bad, she's only 40.She has a whole life ahead of her.
Do you have any suggestions to cope with this disease?
She said recently, she felt some pain in her elbow.
I'm so scared for her.
