Arthritis after surgery I first hurt my right knee when at age 12 i fell off my bike and tore the ligaments. then at 21 i tore cartilage again in my right knee that was in 1979, all the cartilage was removed! in 1996 i had orthoscopic surgery on my right knee to clean out loose material and try to stimulate cartilage growth. 3 weeks ago my left knee needed orthoscopic surgery and all is well. but now because of all the cartilage removed from my right knee in 1979 i now have arthitise severe enough now that i have to use a cane until i am old enough for complete knee replacement anyone have any suggestions?
