having pain again after one year Had ligament surgury a year ago. Doctor told me I could go back to work in 2 weeks. Tried to insist on Physical therapy cause I know alot of people who have had knee surgury of this type and he told me to get 2lb. weights and do leg lifts on my own to build up strenght. So I did and still do.Have always had alittle pain but its gotten worse. I am or was very active walking playing ball with grandkids and love going to dog trials with my lab and german shorthair. Went back to that Dr. and he told me to continue the same excersize and come back in 3 months. Told him some times I can't straighten it or the pain keeps me awake. He acted like it was all in my head. Has any of you had this kind of pain after a year and I may need a new doctor.
