Knee replacement revision Knee replacemnt revision Can be trcky. In my case I developed ostolytes(Not sur of the spelling.) Plastic material caused my defence system to attack the particles and the bone. The revision needed to cut off 2 Inches of the bone and completely remove the fixture as well. A double articulating hinged knee replacement was used. It was Finn replacement. It works well but the muscle that was split in half for accesability began to pull in uneven diretions causing incredable pain. This was eventuly corrected by physical therapy. The patell also had to be completely relined and buit up. Played golf in 3 months.
