I have had knee pain for the past 5 years. At age 51 (female) it seems to be getting worse. I can walk easily but it is very painful to stand up from a chair, bed, or floor. I feel pain in my actual knee cap, plus aching in my knee area and calves. I've tried exercises to build up my thigh muscles but have seemed only to aggravate my knees in doing so! I've had a blood test which came out negative for any inflammatory diseases. Arthritis and longevity runs in my family. I'm hoping I can get some relief as the long years ahead seem bleak in this condition! Please help if you have any thoughts.
