  • ITBFS and Generalized Ligament Laxity
I was just recently diagnosed with ITBFS and Generalized Ligament Laxity. I am a devoted softball and hockey player. I have had to stop playing all sports because of the knee pain that I have had over the last 8 years. I am thinking about surgery for ITBFS and I was wondering if anyone has anything that would help me make the right decision. I have found some websites that say the surgery is pretty successful and others that say it isn't. I want to make a decision so that I can return to my normal sports. Any help or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
