condromalicia patella-treatment with glucosamine

Hi . was diagoned as having chonromalicia patella after two years of pain.I hve been on glucosamine for the lst 4 months.I wonder if that helps. I belive physical therapy does.Strengthing the hamstring and Quads and physical therapy has helped me reduce the pain.luickily my ortho surgeon does not belive in surgery when other measures can help. However I does anyone know of a cure to this condition?
