  • Hi lets see, I started having knee injuries at the age of 14, torn meniscus during a basketball game, 4 more torn menicus followed. Had scopes debridment and clean up all 5 tmes except with the fifth I also had articular cartilage damage. There was an osteochondral impaction fracture of the medial femoral condyle. So my OS did a scope and preformed a microfracture. Man the recovery was long and hard, it was 8 months ago and I am worse off now than before the op. The microfracture failed and the defect actually increased in size. So after 4 months of really bad pain OS sent me to a specialist at Baptist Hospital, and she is going to preform OATS (open). I am so happy theres going to be an end to the madness. Pain really sucks and when youre knee is injured it puts a big damper of your life and how you live and do things.
