  • Kneecap arthritis
I had arthroscopic surgery six (6) days ago on my left knee due to severe pain and "locking" problems. I was thought to have had a torn meniscus. However, the scope determined that the arthritis behind my kneecap was severe. What can I expect in the weeks, months, and years to come? Will the arthritis re-surface even though the surgery cleaned up what was currently in my knee and will the right knee eventually follow suit. I am 38 years old and a very active person, both in work and play.
