Dolphins' Sam Madison Has Surgery

Dolphins' Sam Madison Has Surgery

February 11, 2000 |  MIAMI (AP) - Miami Dolphins cornerback Sam Madison, a starter in Sunday's Pro Bowl, underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today.

The surgery involved the removal of loose cartilage from Madison's knee. The condition had bothered Madison throughout the second half of last season.

Barring any setbacks, Madison is expected to be ready for the team's spring minicamps and quarterback schools.

Madison led the Dolphins with seven interceptions last season.
