It doesn’t look like Brandon Inge’s prolotherapy worked in
the long term. The Detroit Tigers’ third baseman is slated to have surgery on
both knees on November 3. The good news
for Tigers fans? Their All-Star player should be ready in time for next year’s
spring training.

I thought this bit was interesting – to speed up Inge’s recovery process,
doctors might use protein-rich plasma injections. Also, despite all his knee
problems, Inge played 161 games this year – all but one! Wow, pretty impressive.
