Clinical Overview

A sprain is an incomplete tear of a ligament. Any of the knee ligaments can be sprained.

Causes

  • Knee injury
  • Other injuries or accidents (such as an auto accident)

Risk Factors
Activities that can put you at risk for a ligament injury include impact sports like skiing, running, skateboarding, roller skating, ice skating and contact sports.

Cheers for the reply. Up to 2.5 weeks now, dressing off and all looks good. Feels odd though.Swelling gone down a lot but still swollen around the patella graft site, and sore if I stand up for too lo
