Quadriceps Tendon Rupture

Symptoms

If you experience a quadriceps tendon rupture, you will probably know something is wrong, but you may not be sure what. Some patients are even able to walk after a tendon rupture, though others find that when they stand up, their knee buckles under them. If the tendon has ruptured completely, however, you would be unable to walk or even straighten your knee on your own. Usually, there is some swelling.
