Iliotibial Band (ITB) Syndrome

Symptoms

A painful snapping sensation around the outside aspect of the knee
Tenderness and pain is focused about the outside (lateral aspect) of the knee
The pain is worse with activity and improves with rest
Usually, with the knee slightly bent, the symptoms and pain are worsened
