Iliotibial Band (ITB) Syndrome

Symptoms

  • A painful snapping sensation around the outside aspect of the knee
  • Tenderness and pain is focused about the outside (lateral aspect) of the knee
  • The pain is worse with activity and improves with rest
  • Usually, with the knee slightly bent, the symptoms and pain are worsened
